trying to save some dough on a trans rebuild by not touching the exhaust system. about to remove it some time this week. just wondering if the y-pipe or cats have to go b4 i remove the trans.....its in an 88 bronco 2.

On frankenranger it was tough but not impossible. Lots of bouncing and jacking to get the bellhousing away from the pipes. Tranny jack would have helped.

yea, I pulled my A4LD without undoing the exhaust on my ranger, but I have a 3 inch body lift so that helped alot.
