whos made sheetmetal door panels? i want some. i drove around with my door panel off and it felt so much bigger inside.. what else could i do to my truck to make it feel bigger inside? its a 94 std cab:icon_thumby:

Put in smaller seats...or do what I did and cut out the back...no, wait...don't do that...

I upgraded mine to an Xtended cab...but not through a body swap...I just trashed my std cab when the floors and firewall rotted out...and bought the extended cab...

diamond plate covers for door panels:icon_thumby: just cut the hole for the door handle, and window handle
door panels

yeah i think i might try the diamond plate.. and what for smaller seats? explorer seats?

explorer's are bigger i assume, maybe some car seats, bucket seats

I put seats out of a Honda Passport...had to sustom fab up brackets but i like em better.

I would hold off on the diamond plate...unless you're planning on adding a 302...those plates are nice, but they add weight...and a 2.3 needs all the help it can get to stay at highway speeds...

But they may add a layer of protection if you live in an area where shootings are a regular event...I was thinking of doing that on the outside of the door at one point...but backed off...the weight...oh, the wait...

All this talk about shooting makes me wonder if anybody has made a military ranger of some kind.

As for the door panels, wouldn't they be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. But they would look great though.
