Local Dealer Refuses C4C!

Despite the financial pressure, Doll said he has decided not to participate in the Cash for Clunkers stimulus program because he thinks it’s not good for the country or motorists who need low-cost transportation.

“The Barack Obama administration is crushing the cars that poor people will need over the next couple of years,” he said. “He’s taking their transportation away from them, and what is out there is going to be twice or three times the price because he’s taking that stuff off the market ... It’s horrible for the country. It’s socialism. I’m not participating in it, and I’m proud of that.”

Sadly a new dealership he's building is having trouble getting the money to finish it. But I think it's awesome that he doesn't support C4C, it's nice to see someone stand up for what they believe in. :headbang:

Anyway, anyone else have any dealers that refuse to participate in C4C?

A lot of dealers stopped participating in it after they realized it takes a while to get their money reimbursed.

I stand up for what I believe in. If the poor people chose to not get an education and not get a job, they deserve to use the public transportation provided for them. Also, the country is in so much debt, the only way to get rid of it is to destroy China. Welfare is bad for the country (poor people) (sorry to those on welfare). A lot of things are bad for the country. Now I'm going to stop because this isn't a political forum.

How about people in a poor family who can't afford that "education?"

i believe that most people ( at least in the states i have lived in ) are on welfare because they are to lazy to work ( examples being 4 of my uncles and one of my aunts ) and that hurts the image of those who actually need welfar or disability ( one of my uncles , has severe chemical burns to his hands from the job he worked for 15 years )

it is my opinion that there should be stipulations that have to be met every quarter in order to continue on welfar/unemployment/disability

Loans, scholarships, grants. If you can get those you can pay back your own debt.

I agree. You should have to go through an application process and give proof to the government that is paying your ass that you're actually looking for a job. or actually have a disability.

Last year my family had a negative income on our tax returns. I'm going to one of the largest colleges in the state. For free. No loans. Grants for having no money.
