Research, read, research and read more. You're the one's got it to do. All we can do is answer questions that you may not be able to answer yourself from your research. The easiest swap for you will be buying a wrecked 2000-2001 V8 Explorer/Mountaineer and transplanting the drivetrain to your 2000.
