I bought a pair of aftermarket lenses on eBay a couple of years ago (I don't see them listed on eBay today). They included new bulbs, fit great, look great, no problem....

Until one of the bulbs burned out, then I found that my extra Sylvania bulb does not fit in the lens housing. I made do, finally, but it appears that these lenses came with bulbs designed to fit in them, but domestic/standard bulbs will not.

Anybody run into this? Can you recommend a brand/source that drops right in?

thanks!

The bulb should be marked as to what type it is (H4, 9004, 9007, etc.).
I'm sure you should be able to match it up with something at the autoparts store.

Sorry I don't have a pic to show the problem. The best answer is the one I didn't try, which is to take a bulb that fits to a parts house and match it up. Guess I've been out of the parts biz too long.....I should have gone straight to that!

Thanks, y'all.
