Quick question about a 04 sport trac 4.0 engine

Is it a good candidate to swap into a 90 and up ranger? The sport trac is wrecked so i can get it cheap. its 2x4 and auto.

Any one. Lady is holding it for me. But I dont want to get it and it be the wrong one or a super $$$ pain to put in.
 
your talking about installing an OBDII engine into an OBDI vehicle. it wouldnt be the easiest swap by any means, but anything can be done with enough time and patience.
