Hey there guys.

I don't really do any offroading and I'm having trouble deciding just what kind of shocks I should put onto my 94 2WD. I live in Long Beach and drive on the 405FWY so having some decent suspension response (reduce bodyroll) and suspension damping...

I'm debating between Monroe Reflex, Explorer ES9000 Pro Comps, Sachs Pro Touring, KYB GR2 or Rancho RS5000TM series.

My price range is $100-250 dollars total.

I can get Reflexes for $20 each.

What do you guys think I should go with?

I'm kind of a demanding driver, asking for both cornering but also good bump damping (I drive over 4 speed bumps just to get in and out of my complex)

Best,
Ghost

Welp, I said screw it and bought a set of Monroe Reflexes after reading other opinions here-- $19.62 at RockAuto.com ; also bought myself a FRAM AirHog air filter for $6.55 since the Ranger needs a new AF anyways.

Ghost

Might think about a larger diameter front anti-sway bar and perhaps adding one to the rear. I doubt the rear has one. About all you can do for body roll. Use all new poly bushings.

I found someone selling a set of swaybars (front and rear for $20 total).

Should I buy these?

Sounds like a steal. New bushings will cost more than that.

It really depends on what is/is not installed on your truck and what he is selling.
