Hello all, I am new to this. My son has a 1998 4.0L 4x4 (5 speed) with the
5r55e automatic transmission (ID according to the tech library) This is a new problem just started two days ago, transmission shifts fine at first then at speeds between 35 and 50 mph,,, it is really slow to engage the O/D. (feels like its slipping) NO blinking lights or check engine lights on.
Does this sound like something specific we need to check or a major overhaul of the transmission.
