on 89 bronco 2 where does the o2 sensor plug in to just bought the truck and wire is hangin thanks
 
usually theres the o2 sensor on the exhaust line near the engine, and theres should be a plug coming off the haness that connects to it.
 
most likely a four pin(wire) roundish plug
 
yea not seein it i see its round my plug is a 4 pin but has only 3 iwth 3 wires the 02 sensor plug with wire is about 15in and the only time the harness goes back that far is for the tranny and fuel pump but thats on the total opposite side(o2 on passenger) i was thinking where all the emissions is stuffed in on passenger side it would drop down(didnt see anything) where should i start tracking
 
another quickie do i have to unplug battery and sit for a little or should it detect it
 
should detect it, i dunno i never unplug my batterie unless its gunna be sittin for awhile.. just pull the positive just in case
