94 Ranger Mechanical door locks in door clip

The little white plastic clip that clips on the back of the door lock and connects the rod has broken. I purchased a new clip but I can not see into the door well enough to be able to figure out which way the clip and rod attach. Does anyone have a diagram or drawing of that clip and rod?
