So i put a k&n on the 4.0 engine and now the filter once and a while will make a very annoyting loud humming noise? and suggestions

Thats your IAC acting up, most likely got dirty from the oily foam filter you put in. As the old k&n saying goes " It flows better because it filters less"

its not the foam filter its the whole CAI systemmm can i clean the IAC ( what is this haha)

In either case take off that oily filter, trust me, it will do nothing but problems ( such as now). And yes you can clean try to clean it, it is located behind your thottle body on the drivers side of intake manifold, theres two ( 10mm i believe) bolts holding it on the manifold.

i have never had a problem with my K&N filter , on either of the trucks i have had them on , in fact i am experiencing the same thing you are right now with a completely stock set-up with a FRAM filter , how is the CAI system set-up for the 4.0 ? Is the filter in the open or is it in the filter housing

a bad PCV valve will hum like that
that is a possibility , i never thought of that , but in my case , i know it is a bad seal in the air cleaner , because i can take it apart while it is running and put it back together and it goes away for a week or so , mine sounds like a vacuum cleaner

Stock airbox assembly and stock replacement filter... You actually took off a factory cold air intake put on an intake that sucks in warm air
