How many miles on the clutch?

Sounds like just a wasted clutch disc to me.

I mean 102,500 miles is about the point where your clutch is worn out. Depends on how it's been driven, and I could be wrong entirely, but that's my guess without having the opportunity to drive it.

It's not hard, just somewhat complicated and time consuming if you have not done it before. You will need tools, a good floor jack or two, jackstands, a helper, etc...you have to pull the transmission to do it. Get a second opinion on whether or not the clutch is actually the problem before you start on it though.

you could try doing a brakestand and if it just gives reving like a bugger while doing so well its more than likely your clutch is fubar.

you can go buy a chiltons book just for the general idea and if you are very mechanically inclined you can do the clutch with some help from a friend.
