i have a 99 4wd 5spd 3.0 and i dnt wats goin on with it but the tranny or the clutch or the rear end or something is messin up wen you first take off it feels really sluggish and like it has no power and wen you do get your speed it feels like its slipping and wen you take off you can hear a creaking noise ive checked the tranny fluid and t case fluid and theyre filled and fresh

How many miles on the clutch?

Sounds like just a wasted clutch disc to me.

I mean 102,500 miles is about the point where your clutch is worn out. Depends on how it's been driven, and I could be wrong entirely, but that's my guess without having the opportunity to drive it.

alrite man thanks i preciate it how hard is it to do a clutch swap

It's not hard, just somewhat complicated and time consuming if you have not done it before. You will need tools, a good floor jack or two, jackstands, a helper, etc...you have to pull the transmission to do it. Get a second opinion on whether or not the clutch is actually the problem before you start on it though.

you could try doing a brakestand and if it just gives reving like a bugger while doing so well its more than likely your clutch is fubar.

i have all those except for the knowledge of how to do it is there any way to check the clutch or tranny without tearin it a part or off

you can go buy a chiltons book just for the general idea and if you are very mechanically inclined you can do the clutch with some help from a friend.
