Needing an automatic tranny so I can sell my bronco and I am just wondering if all of the a4ld's were the same all the way up to 94? Also do they come in other vehicles other than rbv's? I have my eye on a 93 and a 94 and they don't want much for them but I want to make sure it will work so I can throw it in there real quick instead of shelling out the money for a rebuild just so someone else can enjoy a nice freshly rebuilt tranny

My credo
Failing is easy. Everyone can do it.
Try and get one matched correctly. Salvage yards can help with 'interchange' to point to what model and year can be swapped around.....however keep in mind an A4LD made for use with a transfer case? Has a different output shaft then the A4LD's used with a normal 'tail shaft'. So while you may find one that will bolt up to a 2.9v6?...and it turns out the A4LD came out of a car? Probably won't work without some major surgery.
