I was golfing a few miles from the show on Sunday, at Glacier Wood Golf Club. Heard a lot of heavy artillery fire. Almost hit the deck a few times....lol.

Ohhhh yes they are, they're 106mm recoiless rifles. It basically shoots the same size shell as a tank, only with a different shell casing and breach to allow a back blast (similar to a bazooka). Packs the same punch as a tanks main gun, in a light weight and very deadly package with almost no recoil.
They even went to the extent of mounting one on this....The mule.
Same guns as the ones on this...
The Ontos tank destroyer. 6 106mm recoilless rifles....one of the most badass looking vehicles too...

You were probably hearing this, along with a bunch of rifles...but this one took the cake on loudness...obviously.
