Hey guys I'm kind of a newbie here. I have a 2001 XLT 2wd 3.0L that keeps throwing the main seal, most likely a crank problem.
Anyways I have a line on a wrecked 1997 with a 3.0L motor that has very low milage, would it be an easy engine swap putting the '97 into my '01? I'm not sure what type of engine changes they made to the 3.0L from 1997 to 2001.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
