Could be any number of things (hubs, u-joints, t-case, etc.)... Need more info (like does the clunking get worse when the steering is turned?, when you're on the gas/off the gas? is it there in 2WD but with the hubs locked? and so on)
Is it a manual t-case shifter or pushbuttons?

push button 4x4,the noise is only there in 4x4.noise gets worse when your on the gas, i installed front wheel bearings and ball joints drivers side. when 1 took her out 4 a run after and shifted into 4x4 high i got the clunking noise.

push button 4x4, no noise in 2wd.

Things to check..
U joints on front driveshaft
U joints on front axle shafts

Does it have Auto hubs? Does it make a difference in forward/reverse?
Get worse when turning?
