2001 for ranger 2.5L

Does anyone know what the best exhaust would be for someone like me with a 2.5L engine?? I just dont know that much about exhaust. I have single exhaust right now. Thanks for the help!!!!!

gotta learn to be more patient. exhaust is a touchey subject. everybodys wants are different. do you want ricer loud? do you want pissed off weedwacker loud? do you want mellow rumble/ do you want deep and throaty?

i suggest either a flowmaster or similiar knockoff, or try the edelbrock sound deflection mufflers. i think they would sound nice on smaller engines. they are nice and deep and throaty on v8s, they should sound decent. but its a 4 banger, there always gonna sound a little ricey, just youtube some sound clips.

i have a 2.5 with a dynomax exhaust kit on it. it has a nice rumble to it but nothing too loud. i had a magnaflow on there and it sounded like an import so i got rid of it. its all about personal opinion. like blackwidow said, just youtube some clips and see what you like

go to www.jegs.com and type in your year make and model. then look under exhaust kits. the dynamax should pop up.

Hey I think I am going to get that exhaust kit from Jegs.com, Its only $209.99 right now but if i buy it before the end of this month I can get a $75 rebate on it. That is a single exhaust from the cat back for only $125 that is a great price isn't it???
