ok so how would saturday aug 29th around say 11am or noonish sound for a meet and greet at the atsion ranger station on rt 206. theres plenty of room to get everyone together. and if anyone wanted to wheel we could take the hampton furnace trail in and go down through 1/4 mile to get a little mud and do some trail riding.

the ranger station is on rt 206 in shamong twp across from atsion lake. im sure you could mapquest it from you location. im not sure on an actual address.

Atsion,NJ is on all maps and GPS. Tiny place, can't miss it.
The Hampton road is a horrible washboard right now, 5mph max to keep dentures from falling out.
I'd use the long way around to get in to that mile place, I don't like using real names anymore ;-)

That place has one deeeep hole that can swallow the front half of a truck...

What kind of wheeling did you folks have in mind?
If the water is high, the stock rigs won't get through without some really wet interior.

As for the axle, I did not put it anything yet.

Been busy with other stuff, e-clip eliminated on the D35 front; I went into it looking for a noise I'm getting in 4-wheel drive. Think it's in the xfer case, the diff looked fine.

Wheeling the XJ and cutting fenders for bigger tires, still busting off CB antennas:annoyed:.

im going to have to take a rain check guys:sad:. since the weather rained out my car show i took the time to inspect my kitchen floor. im going to need to get some supports under it till i have time to cut the floor out because i had a leak under the floorboards underneath the sink and well yea its not good:annoyed:. so basically its either make sure my kitchen doesnt cave in or go wheeling and unfortunatly i cant afford for my kitchen to cave so ill have to wait till another time sadly. for those of you who do make it out take some good pics for me :icon_thumby:

Ok so who all is going and when is everyone meeting up saturday or sunday and everyones meeting around 11am? It would be good to get a post to see how many people are actually going. I am going as long as I can get to the DMV saturday morning in time to get my truck on the road. I would also make a suggestion for someone that is deffinatly going to either PM the ppl who say they are deff going and give them a cell number or post one up so this way here just incase someone is running a little late they can get ahold of someone so they know to hold up a few more mins or something. Plus I would say if everyone is meeting at 11 I would say make the pull out time around 11:15 or 11:30 just to give everyone some time to meet up for the guys who are traveling a little further.

FYI, there is a large group of Jeeps meeting up in the same place at 10am.
So, look for Ford Rangers if this is the run you want.
I know some of the Jeep folks so I may not be near my truck all the time.
Look for it parked closer to the ranger station.

He turned down my offer of a tow dolly because he has AAA.

I was trying to make it out there today but by the time I left the dmv it would been pushing it to make it there by 11:30 and it would of been the first trip in the truck so I was kind of worried about driving it all the way out there and something going wrong I will deffinatly be up for meeting next weekend right now it has a set of 27 inch street tires so it wouldnt of been anything fun but hopefully this week my brother will be changing his tires on his f150 and I will be taken his old set nothing fancy but at least its a truck tire and not a car tire...
