i have a 83 ranger, im taking a cab,body off a 85 cuz my old one is rusted BAD. ill be using the 85 wiring system,im picking up a used 4.0 from a 96 explorer, the trans is no good, but can i take the bell housing and bolt it up to my 5spd 4x4 trans , and use the original clutch that was mounted to the 2.8's crank shaft?????
alslo, how are u supposed to upload pics?? i got the body off my 4x4 frame,getting ready to remove trans, tcase, and get the frame sand blasted and painted, and trans rebuilt! after that i plan to drop in the new 4.0 and old trans.
