My 1992 2wd has the manual 5-speed fourbanger. I want a 4.0 5-speed instead. What vehicle and model year would be the ideal canidate for the upgrade?
 
1990-1992 Ranger

with some differences in wiring (mostly extra stuff you need to strip away)
the 1991-92 Explorer.
