The only things "right" about the Bronco2 tank are the Width lets it fit between the frame rails and it holds 23gallons, other than that it's compound bad news.
a MUCH better tank to use is the plastic rear tank from a 90-ish up
F350/450 with factory dual rear wheels.
The F450 tank is also the right width, doesn't have a "penthouse"
and the fuel filler pipe is actually in the right place.
It's what I'm running in my truck.
Even so it required modifcation of one of the Deck support members
(on the underside of the bed) and a 1" body lift to clear the tank.
I fabricated both crossmembers for mounting the fuel tank.
This tank doesn't actually mount to the truck it is strapped to the
"skid plate" which is what is bolted to the crossmembers.
Makes fabricating crossmembers easy (Box tube or angle stock)
On your truck the issue is FAR more complex because your Engine management system is actually monitoring the evaporative emissions system vacuum integrity of the fuel tank, etc...
Makes life miserable on any retrofit of an EEC5 engine swap or fuel system customization on a '95-up Ford.
