sorry to ask stupid questions but i need to know because i have already made a mistake of buying atrans. anywhoooo..... i bought a 2.3turbo motor and trans from an 85-86 (no intercooler), and not thinking on what transmission it has. my a4ld in my 93 ranger is crapped out (200k mi) so i bought the trans (not thinking) to replace the a4ld. it wasnt till after i got home that i realized it had no kick down/tv linkage... so my questions are as follows
will a ranger driveshaft slip in the tailshaft?
what are the connectors for?
where is the tv/kickdown linkage, or is it just the modulator only?
how much am i going to have to move the mount around???
using a will be fine for now. im not too worried about what rpm at certain speeds are going to be. i just need it to pull out of its own tracks.
the bottom of the trans pan is flat. do i need to take pictures of it??
