i have an 88 ranger that i put a custom exhaust on i use 2.5 inch tubing and used a thrush welded muffler sounds so good doesn't sound like a ricer at all no matter how high i rev it sounds like a high performance motor and it is a side exit sorry i dont have a sound clip but take my word for it. it sounds good

Sorry, I've been a little busy.
Here's a couple pictures from a while ago. You need a 3" body lift to get the exhaust over the frame.
And a similar setup we built on my friends ranger.

made mine finally. sounds sweet. did a 18 inch piece of strate 2.25 pipe from cats to a 3ft piece of flex pipe over the frame and out the side.
all you got to do is cutt that one piece of body bracing infront of passanger side rear wheel and you dont need a body lift to side exit.
