87 Ranger Starter relay wiring

I'm getting ready to check my valve lash,went to hook up a remote starter switch and couldn't remember what posts to connect.Went on line and found a thread that talked about unhooking a wire thats supposed to be hooked to the I/ignition post,but on my truck there is no wire on there.
Is this right?
 
You should have the two large lugs, then the trigger. The trigger will be a small wire with a little rubber boot on it. Disconnect this, then run your remote start switch from B+ to that lug.
 
OK,that works and the valves are adjusted!
