I have a 91 Ranger 2wd 3.0 which was originally an automatic. I have done the M5OD-R1 swap and my cruise control doesn't work like I figured. I was just wondering if anyone knew what I have to do to make it work. The only thing i have tried is start up the truck, unsplice the 2 wires to make it think its in neutral and drive, but it was a no go. Any info about how it works would be great. :)

What have you done about the clutch switch?

The clutch switch isn't hooked up as I couldn't find out where to plug the harness in. There is supposed to be a jumper or something that you unplug that the A/T uses and the clutch safety switch plugs into? Currently I have the wires that plugged into the A4LD cut and spliced together.

I plan on going and picking up some wiring for my truck on Monday, and I was wondering if the clutch safety switch wiring and wiring that plugs in the firewall and goes down to the tranny the same between the different engine types?

It's fixed. I grabbed the pedals out of a truck that didn't have cruise and all that it needed was the plastic flap that goes on the break pedal that presses on the vacuum tube valve in the aluminum pedal bracket. :)
