Has anyone replaced their turn signal switch and then had trouble with it?

I replaced the ford one around 90,000 miles because the hazard switch was acting up. 2000 miles later it stopped auto-cancelling the turn signal, they sent me a replacement. Now 4000 miles after that replacement I lost the auto-cancel again. I did not have this problem with the original ford piece. Just wondering if anyone else has had this same problem?

did you use an aftermarket replacement switch? if so, return it and get a Ford switch. if the first one lasted 90K, then the next one should aswell.

typically the factory switches dont loose the auto cancel feature, they dont catch and hold the directional down in the first place. at least thats what the ones that i have seen have done.

why did you replace the directional switch if the hazard switch was acting up? i thought that they were separate pieces.

I will be going on my third aftermarket switch in a year. I complained a bit and got decent customer service so I'll give them one more shot.

Hazard button and turn signal stalk are all one unit.
