Gen 2 prerunner

Hey Im looking into a prerunner build eventually and mostly I seem to find gen 3 ranger prerunners. I was wondering if people could post pics/links to some gen 2 prerunners. Also is there a reason why most people dont use gen 2's?

Believe it or not there are alot of Gen 2 and gen 1 Prerunners out there. They disgise them with updated glass clips.

the 93-97 syle is pretty popular with the gen 1+2's. And the 98-00 is popular with the Gen 3's

Ya I have seen some gen2 cabs with gen 3 front clips. How would I go about doing that? Is it just as simple as unbolt and swap or is there some sort of conversion kit?

here are some pics of my gen2baja project

i am still workin on it but as of now i put racerunner coulover remote resovior shocks on the front 1600 for the pair racerunner hydraulic bump stops 220 a pair racerunner remote resovoir shocks in the rear 900 a pair limiting straps widened the frone axle 8 inches fiberglas front fenders and i have a gen3 bed with fiberglass fenders for it
