Hey everyone quick question, I seafoamed my intake with the spray can not the liquid about a month and a half ago I only used about half the can and followed the directions on the can but stupid me didn't know that I had to change the oil and drove the truck for another 800 miles or so before I did the timing chain and changed it then. Do you guys think I did any serious damage to my motor? Its a 2000 ranger with 100,000 miles and the 3.0 flex motor, thanks for any advice.

Not at all... You don't have to change your oil (it says on the can you can put the stuff directly into your crankcase)....

Whew load off my mind:) Thanks much it seems like I always screw things up more when I try to fix them:)

The oil change is only for if you use it in the crankcase.

+1... But, if you do that I'd run it for a few miles to help loosen up what is in there... BTW - If you have enough Seafoam getting into your crankcase by doing the vaccuum method that you need to change your oil after you do it you have a problem Seafoam won't fix :D

Thats what I thought but I was thinking the only way would be leak down, thanks again everybody for throwing your knowlage at me:)
