I have an '86 ranger regular cab short bed that i am wanting lower but am very low on money. I was thinking of getting 3 inch lowering springs for the front and a flip kit for the rear. But i can't afford to buy drop beams i was wondering if i could get by with just a new camber eccentric.

And if anyone has pics of a regular cab with this set up i would love to see it

Thanks

well nobody makes a 3 inch drop coil for an ibeam ranger because that is pretty much pushings the limits of your alignment and sometimes can not be re-aligned perfict But I do sell 2" springs if you are interested in them. They are belltech and the best spring on the market for your application. http://www.illusivefabrications.com...file=product_info&cPath=21_38&products_id=216

as for the rear you can just do the shackel flip at the cost of some grade 8 hardware as long as you can grind or torch the rivets off.

Thanks for the Idea, I know dropping the first gens are a pain, this give me a good feeling, just wandering if I was to drop my truck like this, do I need lowering shocks or can I get away with stock ones,
Thanks Kenny

If you have new stock replacements on there you could get away with them for a while probably. But I would suggest replaceing them with Doetsch Nitro Slammer shocks for the best ride and handeling.

I did a 3" front drop & 5" rear hangar flip(& removed overload leaf on each side) on my '89.....I installed adjustable 4 degree camber bushings & aligned it using the tech forum info.....NO PROBLEMS!!!!!!!!!!!...chek out Metamorphosis forum.....Just plain stupied thread for pics......but I don't suggest cutting off the coils like I did.......
