al4d swap question

I have a 1991 2wd 3.0 street truck I am building and I live in California so I have use my stock motor and all ,my problem is my crappy al4d its gettin ready to go and I was wondering if was possible to swap in a 6 speed manual out of newer wrecked mustang.:icon_confused:

3.0L has sort of it's own bell housing. Not sure if you'd be able to find parts to swap that up. M5OD-R1 5 speeds are reliable and more reasonable as far as cost and installing. Another used A4LD could probably be had for $250 from a junk yard, but it could face the same fate.
