I have a 2000 Ford ranger 3.0 l flex fuel... last year I had a code pop up that said egr excessive flow. These are the parts that I have replaced so far with just my basic knowledge.... The egr valve itself, a new egr pressure feedback sensor, the egr solenoid, Plugs and wires, mass air flow sensor, and i might have missed one but that's about it. I was wondering what else it could be, I really like the truck a lot and for a little 3.0 L it runs great. It doesn't run any different with the light on either. It's confusing the heck out of me... help please.

Check the tube between the EGR and exhaust. a slight restriction will increase the speed of the flow. A clogged cat forcing exhaust into that tube increases flow as well. A leak in any of that can also increase the volume (and in turn the flow).
