howdy all,
i'm getting a 1989 ranger xlt 5 speed 2.3L!
A friend is giving me the truck because it wont pass smog
i guess the reason is:
"Took to have smog check week before last did not pass due to what was noted as a Fuel evap problem
Took truck to Stewarts, fuel hose is broken where it goes into the fuel tank it self so needs to be replaced reason for not passing inspection."
Is this a common problem? They quoted here $250 for the part and another $200 for the labor.
