Ok, My girlfriend is will very soon be getting an 2wd 03 Edge Supercab. I wanna drop it, but don't know where to look or go to for parts (I do know where to get one hell of a desert suspension though). I did a quick search but everything was TIB or coil IFS, nothing for T-bar suspensions.

Also what would be a good riding set-up for this truck? I can't see spending 10Gs on a truck and then making it ride like it doesn't have any suspension in it.

Any advice would be awesome, since I'm not into lowered trucks and know nothing about them.

the only way to lower an edge is to un-crank the t-bars, flip your torsion keys or do a coil over set up in the front I've also heard that 08 4x4 Keys are 1.5" lower than previous years so you might look into that. For the rear pull the block, or do a flip kit.

if she has not got it yet I would get a regular 2wd ranger with a coil spring front end. Fords torsion bar suspensions suck when it comes to lowering in multipul ways.

Wouldn't that make the front end real loose, since they get tighter when you crank em up?

Kinda seems like we'd be better of giving it a little lift and slightly bigger tires...
