4X4 doesnt work

The lights for the 4x4 and low range do not come on when pressed, and nothing happens at all when the buttons are pressed...

any ideas on what this could be? maybe i need a new transfer case?
 
make sure when putting it in LOW range 4x4 to put it in Neutral and press the brakes.
 
make sure ur trans case fluid is good too... mine didnt wanna work at first til i changed all fluids now it works everytime.
