vac modulator prob

just wondering how hard it is to put the hose back on the vac modulator on the transmission? also is it ok to drive with the hose off

The vacuum modulator is located on the passenger side of the transmission, about where the rear of the door is. It's gold-ish in color. It is easy to remove (just one bolt holds on the little bracket), however, the exhaust pipe makes putting it back on a little more challenging, mainly because you have to do it with one hand, or at least I did. But it's definitely doable, just take your time.

And no, you can't drive with the hose off...the tranny won't shift at all.

You having troubles with that A4LD?
