89-94 same and then 95-97 are same.............
Where are you located, as I have a 95 2.3L for sale?
The probelm would be going from OBD1 to OBD2, alot more wiring on the '96... Someone else will probably pop in and give you more detail...

I will keep your engine in mind, I have a buddy that is good with a welder and I am going to have him look at the frame Monday. The top 2/3 is good yet so, we might be able to weld a plate inside the rail to reinforce for now. What part of Tennessee are you from? My folks retired and moved to Dover on Lake Barkeley.
