im going to get either skyjacker 2 inch leveling coils or the daystar 2 inch coil spacers.

my question is what one should i buy ???

spacers or springs, either way youre going to need an alignment afterwards. the deciding factor for me would be the age of the springs. if they are relatively new, i would go with the spacers. if the springs are old and possibly sagging a bit i would go ahead and buy the leveling coils because youre going to level your truck and improve your ride.

I used 4 or 5 large washers under the springs, gave me about an inch or two..The only thing I've wondered is if the 2 inch skyjackers have the same spring rate as the 4 or 6 inch coils cause they're supposed to ride batter than stock springs!

I vote the Washers as well...

Cheaper and they don't wear out

My Spacer wore out on me.... and Ranger leans rediculous now :p

I vote springs or washers.

If it were me, and money wasn't a "huge" issue, I'd get the coils.
In my opinion, new coils are 10 times better than spacers, because like others have said, it improves the ride of the truck.

I went with coil spacers (washers) when I did mine, but that was because I was on a very tight budget, and $20 for washers sounded a lot better than 150-200 for new coils.

Did you use plastic/ nylon spacers?
From what I've heard, those tend to collapse over time, which makes perfect sense.

dont get the daystar spacers, those brake down after time. wast of money. do the washers they will out last the truck, lol or like ben said if you got the cash get the coils.

Mine were the Daystar ones... and ya, it just collapsed.

....yea, stay away from the polyurethane spacers. Been there. Washers are the way to go for small amounts of lift.
