Buddy of mine wants to know if it would be possible for him to put the interior out of a 1989-94 Supercab into his 1987 Supercab?

He likes my interior better, so he wants to take one out of a yard.

Just checking to see if anyone has done this before.

Yea Koda, its been done before. The wiring is more involved, I believe there is a writeup in the tech section.

actually i like the 1st gen interior way more than 2nd gen, but that just my opinion

2nd gen is 89-92. 93 and up is 3rd gen.

So from what im reading i can put 2nd gen. door panels on my 1st gen. doors.

93 and 94 have the Same dash as 89-92 but different door panels.

93 + 94 have the 2nd gen interior, except updated door panels.

oh, i see. do the door panels still mount in the same locations on the early 3rd gens as they do on the first and second gens? maybe i'll have to look for an early 3rd gen donor.

Gah! I think I hurt my head trying to imagine the possiblilties and sort out all the Gens...

I'm with Boggin on this one...I love the look and feel of the 2nd Gen Rangers...but, yes, it has been done before...several times...the dash is the tricky part apparently...and the wiring is quite a bit different...but anything can be done with enough money and enough monkey...

Im goin to be doing the dash swap one day. My brother-in-law has a manual I can use for help with the wiring. If you take your time and use your head anything can be done.
