My buddy took his 1984 Ranger 4x4 2.8 4 speed to a transmission shop and had them put a rear main seal in the motor and when he picked it up he didn't have reverse. It was working fine when he dropped it off. He left without saying anything, don't ask me why I think he was scared or something. I bought the truck for 200 dollars and now I need to figure out if it could be something simple or the transmission. Any and all comments appreciated.
