1980's Tan interior

I got a new LMC dash cover, it is the injection molded plastic cover that you glue over the existing dash. The color is off, it seems to be a more modern lighter tan than the my classic 1980's tan. I have searched every home improvement store, farm supply store, and even had a couple car part places look it up in books, but I cannot find the tan paint to paint the dash to match the rest of the truck. Has anybody found either the paint codes for the factory color or a different available color that is close and I could have ordered?

For 1985 the tan interior color is listed as "Sand Beige", Ford trim color code "T". A Ditzler brand paint number is 25557 (low gloss) and 25558 (semi gloss). Maybe this info will help at a good body supply store.

A question for you, please. What do you think of the LMC dash cover? Does it fit and look good? I'm looking at trying one of those for my '84.

Thanks, I will have to try that. By chance is that an option for '88 too? I think my truck is kind of a hodge podge of a couple different trucks.

Right now it is stashed safely under my parents buffet in the dining room. I brought in a trim piece to compare the color, otherwise I have not had it the truck yet. It looks good though. :icon_thumby:

Yes, for 1988 the exact same information is listed.
