ok so i just put a snorkel on my ranger and its all 2" pvc piping. but it seems like theres a hesitation now when i hit the gas anyone else have this?

2" is a bit restrictive when compared to the factory 3" intake. I'd look at building it out of bigger material.
 
hmm... i dont think 3" would fit behind my fender though. i did it the same way as the 4litre efi snorkel in the tech library

i think two inches is fine 3 inches is too big in my opinion
 
like i said i think there may be a hesitation but i cant really tell. if theres is any its very small...

i mean you might lose a little power but if you built a snorkel chances are you really shouldnt need that power..like a wise man once said..its not like ur drag racing thorugh a river lolol
 
well i mosltly just wanted somthign to get the intake outta the bumper. i was bored the other day and went muddin and the water wasnt high enough to get over my tires. (which are stock) and it stalled cause i guess it tried to suck in water... so that had to be fixed
