tonight i removed the whole exhaust line besides the manifolds, i got out all bolts, wiring, harness, oil lines, and filler neck tube.. rear trans crossmember detached.. the bell housing is about a 1/2 inch apart from the engine but it wont budge any further. ill get pictures of the mess i made :icon_thumby:

i was irritated as S&*% and it was 12:50pm when i stopped and went inside to have myself a  and think this over.

Any ideas of the bat?

P.s.:offtopic:
these auto transmissions are not practical at all.. nothing but problems with 2 4r44e"S but im replacing this POS for a Mazda
M5-r1 standard 5 speed.! :icon_hornsup:

On my '99 there were six trans to engine bolts but I guess if you didn't get them all you wouldn't have it 1/2" away from the engine.

What they said. starter and torque converter.

you have to take the starter off first just to get to the torque converter bolts.
