well i had talked about getting the t5 stuck on my 4.0 sohc and finally got it done...
havent adapted the external slave cilinder to eliminate the cable yet...
it wasnt easy had to get a part sent to the lathe shop twice, and the clutch wasnt the right one soo it was a lil dificult but well worth it.

i took a pic a few months ago of the motor and tranny put together outside of the truck but its with my cel. and cant get download it ill see if i can get it tomorrow soo you can see how nice these to things look together:icon_thumby:

Congrats! Does the T5 look like the trans that comes stock on the 4.0's? My friend keeps telling me I have a t5 on my ranger...but I dont know the difference. He says it looks the exact same as the one on his 5.0.

no dude from what i think i know . the stock ones on rangers have the bellhousing as a one piece like already casted you cant interchange them you can only take apart the back end ... se how this one its bellhousing comes apart you can interchange it, if yours is like that then you might have one...

look at the first pic. see how the bell housing is a slight difrent color and has four bolts on the corner to take it off-- a lot of trannies on ranggers ¨stock¨ its all one piece cast .. hope you understand . get under the truck and check that out

hope you have one !!
