I have a 1998 3.0 Ranger that doesnt have A/C, will anything from the A/C system on a 1996 taurus fit my Ranger

the compressor will probably work...but thats about it. the taurus uses different accessory brackets, different belt routing....and obviously the a/c lines, condensor, evaportator, and accumulator will all be designed and shaped to fit in the taurus not the ranger.

before you go replaceing things that might not need to be replaced you will want to check for leaks with some UV die and if there are none it could be as simple as just needing some new refridgerant or the ac compressor could be dead if it spins freely then your good if it is hard to turn the get ready to buy a new one

i think when he said his truck doesnt have A/C that he meant it isnt equipped with A/C in the first place...at least thats how i understood it...
