hi everyone,
after i lost my license, i sold my ram and my brother took my ranger back. but i possibly could be getting another ranger. i bail hay for a guy i know sometimes and a farm we went to last night has an 89 ranger sitting in a barn. i asked the guy if it ran and he said yeah you wanna buy it?. so we got to talking. its an 89 extended cab 4x4. he said it has a rebuilt jasper 2.9 v6 engine with about 30,000 miles. brand new tires. its a 5 speed. the trucks all sanded down and ready to be painted (not sure if it needs any more body work) i asked him how much he wanted and he said he really only wanted to get what he paid for the tires and stereo system. on the way out i was talking to my buddy on the cb while he was still with the guy. i got his number and then asked him if $450 would be good. by the time he answered we were outta range and i was gonna call the guy and offer $600. my other buddy just called me and said the guy said $450 w/o the head unit and speakers. i'm definitly gonna call him tomorrow
