limited slip ?

ok i asked before about swapping gears from a 8.8 limited slip into a 7.5 and i got a no but what all makes is a limited slip just the (s-type spring between the spider gears) or is there other things with it like special spider gears? if its only the spring wouldnt i be able to put that spring between my gears? thanks for any info

it's a special carrier with special spider gears and clutch plates to make the grabbage...

you're pretty much stuck with a lunchbox locker (powertrax or locrite) or an axle swap

that sucks i have the gears and limited slip stuff from an 8.8 we put in our jeep. guess its staying open till i get money

swap in an 8.8 and use your gears and limited slip carrier. simple as that.
