v8 explorer swap

does a 1997 mountaineer 5.0 with 80k that comes with the a/c comp. alternator, power steering pump, air pump, injection pump, wiring harness, computer, and flywheel for 300 bucks sound like a good deal? oh ya im swapping it into a 1995 ford ranger 4.0 with the d35 and 8.8. is this a worthy choice to all you veterans? i appreciate your answers thanks :icon_hornsup:

yes sounds like an awsome deal, just got to get a dual sump pan because the exploder pan wont work with ttb

For $300, I'd sure jump right on that. Heads and intake are worth that someplaces. Same for the front dress if all complete. Still think you are going to have wiring issues if you stick with the Explorer computer and wiring. That sure wouldn't keep me from buying the motor.

right but for the deal i cant pass it up. ill decide the wiring and computer later on, but its a good deal. i wana buy as much as possible before i start anyways.
