I have recieved a 3in body lift from one of my friends for free. He just did'nt want it, so i asked him what the body lift came off of, he said he did'nt know, so now i have a body lift kit and i dont know if it will fit , because i dont know what vehicle it came off of (i hope it came off a ranger) So are body lift kits universal? Its just a bunch of urithane pucks. and some bolts...right? because thats what i got.
I know i have to get a longer shifter, longer brake lines, and e-brake cables. and screw with the steering. Also how do you get the body off the frame??

uh, you don't have to get longer brake lines, or an ebrake cable, just modify the mouting point, you have to get a steering extension though, as long as the bolts are the right ones, and you have the correct number of lift blocks you will be fine.... all you do is unbolt the body, have a buddy help you lift it off the frame, and slide in the lift blocks.

We used a high lift jack and got one side's in, and then did the same on the other side. The tech library has the instructions for the 3" PA body lift. Should carry over.

We actually pulled the box off, (not bad at all with 3 people.) We lined up the spacers, and then set the box back up top and bolted it in.

With a 3" you might need the brackets for relocating the ground wire on the firewall.

Good luck
