title pretty much says it all, the check engine light has been on since i've had the check. the previous owner said it was a valve thing that had to do with emissions. Didn't affect the truck didn't care. I swapped in a cherry bomb glass pack and after a recent off highway trip it decided to remove itself. This is the weird part. my dummy light is no longer yelling at me.
it fell off right where it hooks-up to the cat the little bracket rusted out and gave. i don't really think thats pertinent but thats what happened.
