any one ever use carpet paint my dad is going to paint my carpet idk y told him i would drive it like it is ha anyone know how it holds up.any one got before and after pics i would much appericate it

I don't have pics, bt when I bought my 93 the carpet was originally gray and all stained n nasty lookin. Shampoo didn't work so I bought a 99 cent can of gray primer and went to town. Put on a thin coat so it doesn't clump together, but my wife even asked me if I had new carpet put in it. Smells for a day or so, but not too bad
ha thanks i saw some $17 carpet at home depot that i could cut to fit its light grey but i would panit it my dads works at oreilly so i get discount for the paint he said it wouldnt look bad

If the carpet is in good shape clean it then use Duplicolor or VHT vinyl die. I used it on my entire interior and it worked great.

psh tear it out and roll on some bed liner, 100 times better than carpet
altho when i got my truck it was originally a fleet truck so it just had the drop in rubber mat

that duplicolor stuff doesnt work on carpet, it all flakes off wherever you touch it most. i used the same stuff on seats though and they look great.

Hmmm....... I musta got a good couple of cans. Still stayin put and have even cleaned it in spots with tuff stuff.
